i couldnt get any mouon gold so a chef offered crates full of there 272+ mind/willpower 50 filling dring that lasts 40 mins oh boy made a beliver out of me.. one word chef food ownz now

Its too good... unfortunatly this leaves most spice pedlers in the dust, which is a shame really... makes an entire tree in the profession fairly useless... still has a place, but not that good of one...


And dancers/musicians... well... there is little need now. Why wait 10 minutes for a buff... It may last a couple hours.. but Brandy and canap can make the same mods... and they are easy to get and instant... Its a shame... and I hope something changes soon.

I think that people arent looking at this the right way. The nice thing about the new chef foods is that they are stackable with spice. You can get a huge buff by taking a couple swigs of brandy and taking some muon. I think spice still has a good place is this game the way it is. No more changes.

Dancers / musicians are never willing to mind buff OR they are all always AFK.



its nice to get a mind buff without the negative effects of spice, and i dont have to wait on it.

My main character is a smuggler, and there has definitely been a noticeable drop-off in spice sales...then again, I rarely use the stuff myself, except for "emergency" situations, where I'm about to be mind incapped.

I still prefer the musician buffs and moun, oh well if ihave to wait 3 mintues for the downer, id rather pay 4k a crate of muon instead of 200k fordecent brandy.

For me it's a supply issue too. I can get muon pretty easily, but brandy and canape sell out so fast you never know if the trip out to the vendors is worth it. If I can get ahold of either, I'll use them, but it's still the muon I won't leave home without.

Actually dancer/musician buffs are making a come back. Theres a patented 3 minute 10 second buff going around that works wonders, they can even do it afk if they've got the proper macro up and running.

Last few days on Dantooine I've seen people in the cantinas offering these services, I figured what the hell, I'll bite. Sent the dude a group invite, minute or so later I was grouped with him, five minutes later I was fully buffed by a Musician-not yet Master so it wasn't quite double, but it was a neat trick, although if there is an ATK entertainer available I'd much rather toss my credits to them.

First off, I hope you didn't pay too much for that brandy. That stuff is crap. I am making what I consider a bit over medium brandies that have +405 with a 49 filling, 118 uses and lasts 37m30s.


as for the usefullness of muon, I still use it and make all the brandy I need! Muon is a great addition to brandy when things get tough. I use one brandy every 30 minutes of hujnting and use the muon during the fight in between brandy uses if things get too much for my mind. Since making TKN I do alot of solo hunting and the muon comes in handy. Smugglers just need to advertise the best use of the product and it will start to sell again.
