Thread: UXP
Do docs and combat medics get uxp for the stuff they craft? I was thinking about using a factory to mass produce stimpacks and components and then sell them at a low price for the uxp. What is the deal? Thanks in advance....

You also get 2 kinds of uxp.
1.) craftign UXP if someone usse components you made to make meds.
2.) medical UXP if someone uses a full med you made to heal.

I heard on some boards that UXP is inconsistent, and that some items give the wrong xp when used anyways. Is there anyone that can confidently say they are getting UXP for the meds that they make and sell or give away?
I have been getting UXP on meds and wepons.. it just can take time to come through...
It has been much more consistant the last few weeks.... but as holo said in one of his posts.. It can take an hour+ for you to actualyl get it.. even if youare standing next to the guy using your stuff...
Use XP is also only calculated off of the final combine... (component use XP is only givin if peopel craft with your paryts).
Small stim b is 24 materials.. I don't remember the current XP % for uase XP.. but lets say 500%...
That's only 120 craft XP for someone using all X number of charges on that stim B.. it isn't a lot. (Doc crafting III is 27,000 XP... 225 stim b's used (not caunting the XP you woudl get for making them)...
Med crafting has a lot of small material costs.. the final combines are pretty tiny as these things go in general.
It is not clear if factory made stims hae their usage XP based off of the 1/10 crafting xp you get from making them in the factiory... it should logically... since the reason is to keep people from flooding XP with a factory.

I know there has been lots of discussion about User XP.
Does a BE get XP from someone using his pet? or is that still bugged? If we do get UXP is it still the 50% that was originally in play?
Is UXP still broken or is it working now? Anyone have any information? I just received some experience while I was placing some harvesters, and the only thing that happened was I sold a suit of armor off of my vendor. It was not a lot of xp, only 9, but I was curious on how UXP works.
You get UXP every time armor you made takes damage when it happens on the same "server segment" as you are on (No telling how big each one is). About 9 at a time, as you saw, is what I have seen as average per hit. It has been working for as long as I'vebeen an armorsmith.
You also get 90 UXP for a slicer using one of your AUKs near you (Same server segment thing). This I have verified on a few occasions.
Not much, but you make armor for everyone in a huge hunting trip to Dart. or something, it will turn into thousands of xps by the time you are done.
I just started towards Doc the other day and I was crafting stims then using the to heal people up then crafting more nd using more thenetc.... Now I havn't crafted much since I quit DE many moons ago, but I always thought you couldn't get UXP for using you own items, but I was getting some. Not a lot, but enough that I all of a suddend qualified for Org Chem 3 when I tossed a stim. So we get UXP for using our own stuff, do you still get UXP when you use your own crafted sub-components in you crafted items?
I am aware that there are faster ways to grind, but I am in no hurry. I was just curious about UXP is all and I am at work so I can't investigate this myself until later.
