I can't seem to find these on Endor, would anyone be able to point me to the right area - I have been exploring south and west of the smugglers outpost, where there are mantigrue reapers and nightstalkers, but none of these beasties.

i found a pack of them near one of the POI ewok tree villages

i think i was just really lucky though /shrug

I think that's a good spot to look for them - If ewoks are like Halflings in EQ and have oompah music playing in their village 24-7, it would drive pretty much anything living nearby berserk.

I believe the berserkers are a boss spawn of deranged mantigrue lairs. I've been wanting to sample some for awhile now too.

That makes sense - darn, I saw some deranged too. (And they were near the drumming of an ewok village!

I actually come across wild deranged mantigrue lairs most often in the ice capped mountains east of the research outpost.

I had a look there and found lots of deranged mantigrues but couldnt find any lairs - I tried destroying a mantigrue night stalker lair, but there are just sooo many of them, I couldnt get it clear.

biggest waste of time ever.

Oh well who needs that dna! (althogh it does look rather nice)
