Thread: what to grind
Any tips for grinding up the tree guys? Like any part of the skill tree to aim for for optimal grinding schematics or what not?
Any tips for gaining the better...
Novice: MSE droids
0001: R5s if you have access to lots of extrusive, otherwise more MSE droids
0002 and beyond: Advanced Droid Frames
Go here, this is my thread on this. It will make you cry. Currently I am a 4/4/2/4 DE

Don't grind! I mean, grind till you get like 1 2 0 4 then just chill and enjoy.
I mean, what will you do after you're master? sell droids for a week and then quit? Relax and improve by selling, that's what I'm doing and it'll give you a much longer and fun DE life.
I ground MSEs to get my first box at 0001. I too am burnt out on them. Extrusive Ore isn't easy for me to come by right now so I'm not doing R5s. Instead I'm grinding out a lot of Seekers, putting them up on my vendor for now. Grinding is starting to make me bored too much so I'm relaxing my way to the next box. Working on faction points and collecting credits to keep my harvesters running while they stockpile for my next grinding session.
I found the MSE droid grind to be one of the worst in the game. They don't sell to well and you need to make hundreds of them. Plus there isn't much else for you to make.
I tried selling a few of them, and made med doids for novice medics farily often, but overall its long and boring. The other classes I've tried the grind is either faster, more usefull, or more fun. I like DE in general but its way to hard considering how relatively weak / useless the class is at the moment.
Ive decided DE will be a low priority class for me until it gets better, and I'll just creep up in XP for it while doing other things. Creature handling is quite a bit more fun, I'm sory to say. I make much more money making talior items. I realy like droids though. They are cute and have potential. So far the most fun I've had as DE is making mouse droids and using them as roving signs or practical jokes.
The big catch is the resources. You are going to need enough steel and fiber to build an aircraft carrier. We're talking hundreds of thousands of units.
I have 4 medium and 4 personal harvesters going and I run missions on endor (an easy 40k+ a night) to buy resources. If I spend 20-25k a day on resources that doubles the amount I can take from my mining and that will get me 80-100k worth of xp in about an hour of grinding (if not less)
If you're on Wanderhome and you have steel/fiber contact me. I'm typically buying 12,000+ units a day @ 2cpu but everything is negotiable.
If you want to see the copy of the macro I'm using I've posted it on MonkehTech.com
