I am a newbie to this game, that said I am an Artisan and I got this mission to find this metal resource and return it to some guy in a bar so that he can use it for some plasma trigger on a device or something like that. How do you know what kind of metal to forage for? I looked and there were several types of metal, or maybe that the point you just keep looking until you happen on it. Any suggestions? thx

If it doesn't tell you a specific metal then any metal should work

Dna samples to not stack, therefore critters cannot be made in a factory

Actually more the problem, DNA samples aren't identical. Not everything identical stacks (like crates). Since factories require identical components, no way to run a pet through the factory.

Does anyone have any form of calculations for the crafting bonuses.
Like how much difference does a 15% Crafting tool really do? Or how much a +1 from a clothing attachment affect your crafting?
Just curious

There has been much debate on the subject in the various profession forums. Much data there. In summary, the number of variables and buggyness of schematics makes it nearly imposible to tell if there is any difference at all. You would need to craft so many objects with different stats and such to get enough of an experimental sample to make any claims that by the time you do that, you have grown bored and either quit, or at least lose interest in posting your results.

That was in responce to the crafting tool stat. The +1 skill mod will give you 0.1 experimentation points (you need a total of +10 for anything to happen)

LoL I haven't played this game in about 4 months and I just came back. I am currently re-grinding doc but I wanted to see if anyone remembered the crafting macro? I know how to do the schematics and stuff just the basic commands in order. Thanks in advance.

I am sure you can find it in many places, but the place I know for sure, is over at www.swgmedics.com in the forums, the SWGMedics.com -> General Forums -> Stimpack Chemistry section.
