DNA Template is missing the Restraint Resistance (if it matters.. does anything even check this resist?)
Schematic %'s are missing for hte final product giving ZERO indication of which of the 4 resource characteristics are important.
CL is missing from DNA Samples
Special attacks are missing from the datapad entry for pets (once tamed you have ZERO idea what special they have.. may just be preexisting pets, haven't tried a tamed pet yet)
These might not be bugs but it really needs looked into or some clarification given:
- Cant create DNA templates which have an armour rating
- Sampling rancors is nearly impossible now
- No information given on what the DNA slots now do (like specials or enhance resists)
- Very High Quality DNA samples having very poor values

I never saw restraint on any of the creatures I saw in the wild, it may be gone now.

This has been confirmed as being intentional. Experimentation is gone on the final clone combine and the resources do not make a difference. Clone quality is completely based ont eh quality of the dna now.
CL is missing from DNA Samples
CL isn't supposed to be listed. When you start mixing cl 10, 30 and 70 dna, any previous cl becomes rather meaningless.

We saw this on TC, but it was fixed I thought, I'll pass it along. Any idea if they actually work and just don't display or do they not work at all?
I'll echo the poster above... ZERO documentation inside of the schematics.
It is 100% a guessing game on what does what until the inner secrets are kinda sorta guessed at like the old system. No other crafting profession has this. It causes:
- unneccessary complexity
- barrier to entry to the casual player
- inability to execute consistent combinations
- inability to evaulate samples
- lack of value to DNA samples based on no documeneted effects of statistics
- opens up the market for scam artists to claim a resource (DNA) does something it doesn't

You have to have armor on the dna samples to create a clone with armor. Most of the samples used have to have armor as well.
- Sampling rancors is nearly impossible now
Was not having any problems with this on TC. Anyone else having this problem? Note, mutant rancors are cl 75 now, not cl 70, they will be very hard to get a sample from.

This is something we'll have to figure out. For some info on resists, see my webage, listed im my sig. You can also find more test data on Aya Onane's Website and in the SWG Academy of Bio Technology on this board once data starts coming in.
- Very High Quality DNA samples having very poor values
You'll have to be more specific here. Low level CL dna will have low values, high level cl dna will have higher values. This is intentional. Gnort dna will now make gnort level creatures and rancor level dna will make rancor level creatures.
Restraint is still a characteristic on wild animals... why I listed it.
So any meat and any flora yields the same clone no matter if it is all 1's or all 1000's? Maybe this should be documented in the schematic?
I'll play around with it, first shot i've had at this system because of the devs refusal to allow character copies for testing... but if CL doesn't matter at all this may come clear as i play with it more.
The specials just aren't listed in the data in your datapad once the clone is tamed. So if you didn't write down (or remember) what specials your clone had when it was in deed form, you are outta luck as there isn't any listing of this in the datapad information... will have a few tamed later to see if it is just preexisting pets.

Why must we figure it out?
Weaponsmiths have a very detailed explanation of how their resource characteristics effect their final products. It is so exact that there are formulas for telling you what is possible for a specific combination of resources before you even click combine... you will know what you get. This applies to every single crafting profession except us?

Huh? Now how would you know you are mixing cl 10, 30, and 70 dna if it doesn't say that? Seems to me this is actually very very useful information. Fpr example when you get all your dna home and put it in one nice bigbackpack, and actually start using it, it's difficult to remember the relative power of say a picket longhorn and a picket longhorn female which you samples from the exact same lair. No indication at all on the dna about the relative power of the two.
Sorry, I agree with the original poster. This is something that has been missing for a long time and really needs "fixing".
i know you need armour on the DNA samples. HOW MANY TIMES MUST I SAY I HAVE USED VORITOR HUNTER DNA WHICH HAS LIGHT ARMOUR?!?!?!?! (and it was all very high quality)
As I said in a separate post, the changes to CH are detailed in 26 bullet points. BE changes get one. Keldarin just hates doing documentation.
I was sampling the heck out of various rancors today. No problem.
WHat do you mean the DNA CL is irrelevant? A customer wants a CL 50 pet. I have DNA from bull rancor (65), Rancor Youth (45), Queen something or other (43). I take 3 65's (for the HAM), a 45 (for Kinetic resists)and a 43 (for ranged attack) and I make a 51 with 2 nice specials and a rnaged attack.. It's how I did it today, but I had to write down what the CL's were. Any other profesion have to do this? So tell Keldarin we REALLY DO want to know the CL on the DNA samples.
Oh, and as Sumorex has said, why must we figure it out?
It makes this class harder to get into as you dont know what DNA sample does what. I myself dont have the time nor the patience to sit there and experiment for hours on end trying to figure out what each different slot does.
