its loot. and maybe /forage. but you dont find to much of it at a time...ive never found over 8 units in one go.

I loot it from the creature caves, like borgel bat cave and pygmy torton caves on Rori. It will take several runthroughs to get enough to use.

I got some awhile ago when I was hunting Kungas on Dantooine. Had no idea what it was for so I tossed it in the bank. (Also I have gotten "Horn" as well) I have only gotten it once and I have killed many spear-carrying diaper men so it is definately a rare drop.

wow.. a CSR gave me 5k mollusk meat for compensation for my meat bag disapearing from the bank. I guess this stuff is alot better then i thought.

The only way to get mollusk meat is by hand with the shellfish harvesting tool.

There is no harvester deed for shellfish.
