The BE part of a base is clearly the most complicated and I've seen many people post asking how to do it and no BE I've talked to ingame knew exactly how to do it. Its a semi-complicated matching game that is hard to master due to the restricted time.
Objective: Match every single letter on the list to its counterpart DNA, around 20-25 DNA.
Rules: A only matches T, C only matches G and vice versa. When choosing a letter, only single letters work. Double letters means the DNA has already been matched up and those will not match DNA.
You have 2 parts at the terminal. First part is the strand given, then second part is the availible DNA to match. When given a strand of DNA, you will need to pick which letter to start on to apply the strand. I'll give you a shortexample to work with from here, I'm numbering them for refereance.
1) A
2) T
3) T
4) G
5) A
6) C
7) G
8) T
9) C
10) G
Given the strand ATGGTA you can pick from 1-10. If you choose 3, the six letter DNA strand willhave its first letter applied to 3, its second to 4, and so forth to 8. So,3) Twill match A, 4)G won't match T, 5)Awon't match G, 6) G won't match A, 7) Twon't match A, and 8) T will match A. So you will get 2 matches and your options will then look like this.
1) A
2) T
3) TA
4) G
5) A
6) C
7) G
8) TA
9) C
10) G
Now you are given the strand ACTTC. The best option would be to choose 3 again. That would result in 3 matches. TAwon't match A, G will match C, A will match T, C won't match T, and C will match G. You are now down to 5 more pairs left to match.
Some tips. I always find it helpful to match thetop DNA and last DNA first. Sometimes just matching the firstletter in a strandis fastest since matching multipleletters with a strand can take too much time.
Hopefully with this guide you'll be able to match up those last pieces of DNA with ease. Figuring this out came after taking out about 10-15bases, so its not so easy to figure out at first glance since your pulse is racing trying to take out a base. I can do a BE terminal in under a minute now, so hopefully you base takedowns will go smoothly.
I'll try to answer any additional questions and edit the post with extra information if needed.

Finally. Bless you. I'd succeeded at this a couple of times, but had never figured out the bedamned rules.

Lol, how did he figure out how to install the game? I think the first time I did it random guessing I completed the whole thing in 7-8mins.
