What do you charge to train other Artisens? I was with a fellow Artisen who charged me 10% of what the trainer would. This was a great deal for me, and them as 10 trainings and they make their money back.

We are the one profession that relies on one another. We should be helping each other as much as possible.

I charge nothing, and I suggest that everyone do the same. Charging for higher-up skills like ones in the Weaponsmith/Architect/etc. trees is fine, but any skills in basic starting professions I do for free.

Ya, I've actually been doing that. Baiscally telling them that they should training the next person for free.

I do think that those who actually pain the trainers should have a way to recoup those costs. Really Artisens have no expenses until Engineering 3 and the need for Bones/Hides except Training.

I don't change anything for training. I often get nice tips though.

Also, I always tip the person who spent their time to train me. Works out well so far.

How much do you suggest tipping? I've been trained and have tipped anywhere between 75credits and 100 credits depending on what I'm being trained in. I heard someone offer to train for 20% of the Trainer's fees, which I think is 1000 credits. I think this is a lot, techincally. I don't mind training anyone on something I know for free or for tips. I know its one of the only ways to make money besides missions and selling the items you make.

Someone tipped me 1.5k for teaching them Survey IV. But I don't charge. I just tell them that donations are welcome (since since I bought almost all my skills). And you never know, someone you train for free, just might have something you need down the road. Thats happened to me more then once.

Well, I didn't charge until last night. When I was running low on money and trying to get Bus IV and then Master Artisan(total 9000 since NOBODY had Bus skills ). Before that though, I would do it for tips.

I know this may sound stupid but how or better yet to whom do you go to get trained as a NoviceMerchant?

I need training bad. If anybody could help me out, I'm in the eclipse server. BE's seem to be nowhere here on Naboo. Just give me an ingame tell, I'll even come to you, heh. I'm really strapped for money as low lvls of this profession gain no money what so ever. I really can't afford the training from NPCs as it requires two mission runs to get just one box, while I'm also trying to upkeep house, harvesters and farm as well. I've only managed to find ONE other BE in the past few days, added him to my friends list but I haven't seen him on in a while.

Any help is very helpful. I TIP WELL!!!

Khanthal, Master BE, Eclipse.

I live on Corellia in Coronet. Feel pity on me and train from me as I had to buy from the trainer for every skill (135k heh). I ask 2k for any skill regardles of level to spread out what I had to pay. They cost from 6k to 9k from trainer normally.

There's a bunch of other BEs around Coronet as well. We're all pretty nice and I'm sure they'd train you as well. I've trained most of them.
