All the master merchants, tailors, chefs, etc. seem to be delieriously happy with this, but it hoses me really badly. With me being out of skill points and no possibility of getting more merchant, this puts me 500 items over my limit and no place to put those items. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Glad everyone else is happy.

It is considerably better than it was before - I think in the old system you would have had a 200 item limit? 750 is a big improvement.

Would be nice if each master crafting class got an extra 250 item vendor, or if they at least gave BE something for having to spend 15 more skill points to get a vendor.

well... The fact that BE's still have to get merchant skills to have a small number of vendors means 1 of 2 things I am not sure which...
1. I cancel my BE and say goodbye to BE forever
2. I drop the tailor side of things and master merchant with it, and try to actually play merchant and sell other peoples wares

Clicky for Arthur

For us it is 24 points to get even one vendor, on top of our 29 extra in pre-requisites...
It might not matter to me, though. I'm considering going for Jedi since I don't have much else left to do. I'll need those points for a combat profession if I do for all the force sensitive xp, since there is no way I could ever manage it with crafting.
Or maybe I'll just pack it in altogether.

I don't know if this will help you Arthur, but have you considered bagging your crates of tissues? I've recently started putting mine in packs of 10 and the space-saving is incredible. For customers that buy in bulk, it is a bit more convenient, too.
One nice thing about using bags is that you can use color codes with them to differentiate products.
It won't help me when the publish goes live, but those with merchant might benefit a little.

Complaints about the Master Merchant box only adding one vendor have prompted the devs to raise the item limit to 300/vendor at Master merchant. clicky

Well as soon as I get some more SP I might be happy with this, if your a master merchant it's not that bad just wish I had the SP to get there.

ok - ignore my post with the cut and paste - this one was so far down the page I didn't notice it - sorry guys
We still have to take artisan to have our own vendor and I'm not sure they'll see our problems as being 'major' *sighs* Fortunately, my wife has a Master Merchant Alt. who picked up my vendors for me, but I'd still rather run them myself.

Question. Does the limit mean 250 crates or does it mean 10 crates x 25?
