Some people use NS ( nightspiders) on naboo, instead of HP in their CL 10 recipes.

I have had a lot of luck using Sevvorts instead of HP in the FAQ non-ch recipe. Quite often get intimidate as a special which can be useful in a tank pet. Not sure what a useful abbreviation would be though.

R = Rancor, on Dath.
GBN = Giant Baz Nitch, on Dath. These two with MH make a nice critter tank pet - somebody was kind to share his recipe in another thread.
RY = Rancor Youth, on Dath.
SVH = Slinking Voritor Hunter, on Dant. Nice for using in pets to tank and kill NPCs, they offer decent kinetic, only lack electricity resist and do dizzy/posture down. And they are dangerous to DNA.
I have never had MR's attack each other, but then I do go in with /peace on so only the one to aggro me should be in combat when they use that area bleed (unless MS breaks of course) - so it should not hit any of its relatives with it. I think it works that way.
Edit: Jawa Beer for extra MS is very very handy. I found a nice food combo when going sampling: 1 Brandy, 3 Ahrisa, 1 Jawa Beer. Then I can sample in full armour (and fully buffed) except pants that I use for MS clothing along with shirt.

I can picture it now.. in you walk in your tattered pants, wearing full body armor, clunky as hell, brandishing a HUGE needle that you're about to stick into that rancors foot.. .."easy boy, this won't hurt.." (bang, rancor falls over dead in 10 seconds).. then you walk to the next one who eyes you VERY suspiciously when you try to stick that same needle into them

as much as a guide to acronyms helps, the BEST solution I can see is:
when proposing a recipe, SPELL OUT the donor of the deoxyribo nucleic acid (DNA), THEN put the acronym for the Mutant Rancor (MR), Corellian Butterfly Defender (CDB), etc in all subsequent usages.
establishing the acronym YOU will use is as basic as using Pet1 or Clone1 for 2nd gen combines in recipe notation.

MDH = Merek Deaths Head, Endor. Popular for its strong poison/disease specials, and very high damage. Has armor as well.
YMP = Young Malkloc Plainswalker, good for its high fort and hardiness, excellent stun, good kinetic and decent ener resists and a few vulns to mix together. Goes well with MH =) Hard to find spawns on Dathomir. (Thought providing a capsuledescription might help. Can we sticky this thread too?)

well thatsthe same situation as when the DWB opened on endor....there are so many people running around there right now that theres a lot more random creature spawns =) Creature spawn rates are based on the number of players onworld and the number of players in a certain area at any given time
