Thread: Freakishly good tissue
Kryxal wrote:Very nice ... at least, if a person is only using one piece of BE clothing of that type. I just take +13 as minimum myself, and regard anything better as a bonus...
For me +17 is the minimum because the extremely revealing skirt with entertainer mods is such a big seller right now. That skirt has one slot that takes several synthetic cloth and one slot that takes a single cloth. I can make +8 regular myoflex which doesn't take any eggs pretty easily, so if I put the +17 into the single cloth slot I can use the cheaper tissues for the other slot and still get the full +25 mod.

Would anyone be against asking the devs to changethe Enhanced Myoflex recipe from 15 eggs to say...5 eggs? Honestly, I don't think this is an unreasonable request. What do you guys think?
If you think about it, Dancers and Musicians are all clothes whores.....whoops did I say that?Hence, they are the ones that are always buying clothing...doubly so, if it is enhanced.
Please devs....throw us a bone.

You know what I'd much rather see? I'd rather them making enhanced myoflex more useful. For example if they made the bonus applicable to buffing and/or battle fatigue healing rather than the mostly useless wound healing (honestly, a master dancer/musicial will heal even the most crippled mind in a matter of a minute or so, so what good does it do to increase that rate by 25% or whatever?)

meh it's generally for the entertainers, who are yet to get that state any high. when i was grinding dancer on an alt, it really does help out. besides it goes great when used in an exquisite dancer's leotard.
Myoflex for entertainer grinders? nah, that's certainly not the customer profile I've observed. Mainly the people who I've made stuff like that for are the longtime entertainers who I believe look at it more as a novelty and are much more interested in the look than the bonus anyway. They throw the bonus in there because they have plenty of credits and "might as well" get something marginally benefitial to them in their profession.
One easy way to verify this: An entertainer will never ask:
"I need a max entertainer bonus outfit, what can you make?" or "what items can you make that are entertainer enhanceable?"
or any such thing. It's always:
"I would like this skirt, and that bustier, and those shoes, and oh by the way can you please put entertainer bonuses in that?"

well i can't really comment on my customers, i sell about 20 items of clothing (total) per night and i am yet to be asked to make bespoke entertainer clothing. i can see what you're saying with the "might as well" factor put in there, but it really does help with grinding novice entertainer
I dunno, +17 would be very nice to have, but I guess being that picky is not really realistic or practical in my view. On the rare occasions when I'm able to buy a big enough stack of eggs that will make a couple of crates of myoflex, I've never stopped toconsider whether or not it would be sufficient to make +17's, I just buy it. And since swgcraft doesn't normally have eggs up-to-date on the servers I've played (since few people collect them) even if I was willing to devote many hours to travel to a particular planet to collect eggs where they were primo quality, I'd be unable to without travelling from planet to planet sampling them for quality myself. That's way too much work, particularly when getting +25 on a single skirt is of questionable usefulness anyway. Consider that anyof the bustiers of the metal bikini can be enhanced by using only 2 tissues, so we're talking only 3 enhanced myoflex tissues between the skirt and top to reach +25, and that can be done with any tissue over +12. Not that big a deal for those that are concerned about such things.

I guess it is because I have never seen a big enough stack of eggs for sale to make a crate of enhanced myoflex. If I did I would buy it without really worrying about the stats on them! Since I always end up gathering my own I would much rather use 15 eggs in an outfit than 45. In general when I find some good eggs (I have people look for me when they are hunting) I spend several hours gathering them and then make a few crates of nice enhanced myoflex and lots of crates of +8 myoflex to tide me over.

This has nothing at all to do with Amazing successes in experimentation or on assembly. I was able to reproduce the BSN's after about 50 or 100 tries with the same resources. It doesnt do it with all resources that would give +85 (I know, I went through 10K of this one Dath Carn meat trying to get that +88 again).
