If the patch is scheduled for next week. . ., It's kinda self explanatory that it's too late for them to add the whole clone line and be tested within a week.

Shame, they almost had me excited for the update (involving BE'ed stuff)

I dunno about the rest of you but I feel very cheated if this turns out to be true. We were assured that the new cloning system would be in the next big patch, the devs have also said on multiple occasions that we'd be able to lower the CL rating of the animals so that non-chs get more than the carrion spat and the kaadu. It seems that TH can be relied on but the rest of the SOE staff cannot. I am very angery about being mislead like this

Personally, I don't mind the misleading part, cause I doubt they are doing it intentionally. The cloning system that the dev described seemed like it would be a bear to code and I'm sure its not going too well. Where I do have a problem is the lack of communication. I remember in "Number one issue" thread wayubb posted a while back (but got removed I think) the BE dev said something along the lines of this,

"I dont know what to say. I told them about the changes we plan on making for them and we are working on them. All I can tell them is to hold tight."

It was something to that effect and I'm paraphrasing. But if the clones dont come this patch, I am really upset at the lack of communication. If they were'nt going to make it, at least have the courtesy to come here and tell us that they arent going in. I really dont mind delays, and I'm not pulling one of those, "you said this was going in, and now its not in and Im gonna cry about it" routines. All I'm asking for is a quick note on how the change is going and where we stand. If its taking longer than anticipated, fine. Just say that. But dont come to a board, say something is going in at a certain time, then never come back and not put that feature in all the while not saying a word. That isnt right.

Although the dev said that the cloning enhancements/fixes would not make the former publish, it would be safe to assume that it would make the next update. However, not in any sentence did he/she say that it would BE IN the upcoming patch. Regardless, these updates should have been in before the end of beta, if not, before the launch. . .

Hopefully Talthazar lets them know firmly how disappointed we are going to be if the mount market goes live without the lowered CL ability being live also. Get ready Talth, your first storm is coming and it is going to be a doosey.

Not to tackle you to the ground already with complaints, but to justify this: This will not only be a storm, but a Hurricane ofprotesting Bio-engineers, already set on a course to "SOE's coast".

I'm so great with metaphors

Personally I'm very disappointed and more than a little annoyed that the new cloning system didn't make it into this patch, for me it was the only reason to hold onto BE. We were told it would make it into the last patch and then it was slipped, I think most of us assumed that this meant it would be in the next patch along with the new creature mounts. So instead of enjoying playing with the new cloning changes I'm now I'm going to have to put up with another month of "Hey can you make me a cowardly gurreck?" and "Hey can you make me a graul?".

Frankly, although I am disappointed that another month has slipped by with the promised fixes nowhere to be seen, Im more disturbed by some of the crafting experimentation changes being reported from the test center...

Has anyone else seen this thread: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=TestCenter&message.id=31734

Our already semi-broken experimentation looks like its going to be made even lower in value

If they add a massive demand for mounts and do not give us means to meet the supply needed in the same patch like we were promised for this publish, there's going to be some problems...
