Thread: Biological weapons?

Just thought I would throw an idea out there to see what everybody thought. It would be nice if the BE's could create something that would be of interest to all the military/hunting type people out there. Currrently, we have three markets, Tailors, Shefs and CH's. Any BE's out there know how tough a market that can be, so introducing a new type of product catering to another field may be very lucrative and interesting. There already is a chemical warfare specialist, why not a biological warfare specialist as well? Post your thoughts.

I would love to be able to make/ and or use a bio weapon

We should get a virus ability or something that would work like the CM's disease

oooooo me rikey, me rikey a lot

I think I saw that they are nerfing the CMs poisons. (just a whine i saw from a CM) But maybe something that could enhance grenades and CM poisons.... (would nulify thier pending nerf but o well)

Maybe an additive to combine with our pets to give them a biological attack ( there is a toxic merik battle lord ) ?

Alot of loot weapons have poison dots, maybe it could work like that. A biological poison to add to weapons (or disease or maybe we could make one of each type)

This would generate more work for doctors

Hell f*king yeah man. This is what im talking about. Drop that pos tissue line, put pet stims in another line or merge the dna line in with clone since it should anyway. WTH have one line just to get dna to use in our other line and then have a experimintation line as well. No other crafting class has 2 lines just to help the other 2 out. All of them have 3 lines of crap to make and a experiment line.

Anyway, hell yeah man, good idea, but it wont be put in cause we gotta be some watered down crappy chef item, tailor maker.

It would be so kick ass to be able to make bio weapons. Guess its just as well its not in, it would require 5 jedi holocrons to make one or milk, take your pick.

Yeh! This would be great. I never really understood why a combat medic was making the poisons they were curing anyway. This would be a great addition to our line since it is so lacking right now.

not just a weapon that causes poison or disease damage, but a weapon that can also hit straight for the HAM pools and cause them to decrease for a short period of time... they would be very efficient and pvp would go nuts with them... so it would be best to make them very rare and make the average weapon do small amounts of pool damage unless you are using godly resources.

What they should do is let us make components for Weaponsmiths and armorsmiths that can be intergrated into the armor/weapon. Just like a tailor can use our creations for bleed defense ect... why not letarmorsmiths put them in armor. Maybe we can make some sort of attachment to weapons that add disease or something.

Neat idea, but with them cracking down on this kind of thing I doubt we have a hope. (And maybe righly not) I think more in keeping with what there doing would be to give us disease/poison resists adds which could be used by either tailors or armorsmiths. That way they are helping out 3 proffessions at once. (Plus all the customers)

ah yeah. A BE is normal BE/CH/Merchant ? or BE/Medic so are not enough skillpoints for any weaponskills.

so bioweapons for BEs are a great idea, but what does the Devs say ?

Just a thought here...
Would it not be possible to create weapon powerups such as those made by artisans? Ours could for instance be such as the DoT loot drops anyways. Give it a target HAM pool, several kinds for each, and various types ranging from really long duration/low damage to shorrt duration/high damage, with of course a set amount of uses. (probably low)
Everyone would want to buy these, but they should require rare resources or be expensive to make for even the best ones, and obviously we cant allow them to get too good. Another thing we dont want to have is every noob who can hold a CDEF pistol running around mind poisoning the entire planet. What do you all think?

i like the powerup idea thing. It would be very nice to do that. We could throw that in with the tissues i'd think. As the levels progress, you can get higher ammounts of damage and whatnot by throwing more meat and whatever into it.
