Minimum CL on these is 40. The stats on it were more like a cl 30-35 but it hit the cl 40 bottom.

Also got a blurrg tamed. Made it with ikopi dna, again it hit the minimum, this time at cl 20.

survey says? ... X

they became untameable because of changes to the checks on creature taming. they were never made tameable because of the stats (same reason none of the other bugged clones were made tameable before the cloning system fixes- balance... and maybe a bit of good old fashionded american laziness). immagine if they were made tameable in the first few months after release. instead of novice CH's running around with rancor and graul they would be running around with CL 90(70 at the time?) behemoths. the cloning system has been nothing more than a good idea until very recently. everything about it until this upcoming publish has been nothing more than preliminary testing and development.

the immense size of the kimo has nothing to do with the inexcusable delay to the cloning fixes. take a look at the malklok or tortur/torton if you dont agree.

bottom line: kimo clones will be huge, as they should be, but the only thing i can see coming out of their size is increased demand and more benefit for the master box, which i have always felt should mean something more thanjust VHq DNA samples.

ok let me get this right BE can tame kimos and blurrgs. But nobody is capable of using them yet?

And if thats so what good are they? Will the be usable after the next patch?

BE's can tame them if they have the skills necessary, say...like CH. And these are only on Test Center atm. Live versions are bugged and the Kimos will like stay that way (already made ones).

I never said that, but I am pretty sure that some Dev stated at the end of beta 3 / start of beta 4, that the size of these things was ONE of the reasons they were made untamable (it's clear as daylight that they would have been WAY unbalanced statwise too).
That's why I expected the reduction in size due to lower CL to be much more noticable.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very, very, VERY happy about the cloning changes in general, and I just love it that the CL 40 Kimo is the size it currently is on Test. I was just surprised, that's all
