Tailors are able to correctly stack tissues

Mounts came out before we have the cloning changes

No BE required to build a cloning center (Entertainers make cantinas, docs make medical centers, ...)

CH get what looks like a nerfed Trick command, so they might actually need pet stims. The description is kind of vague. Can they heal 40% of the mind wound/dmg repeatedly? Or only up to 40%?

"Added 'Pets / Pet Supplies' and 'Medical Supplies' categories to vendor planetary map listing and area barking." I assume this includes the bazaar fix that has been languishing due to that lazyass Dev. How hard was that to fix?

Banthas and Snorbals will run faster. Snorbals are probably still bugged.

Dewbacks will make noises like basset hounds when they shake their heads.

On the plus side - we weren't directly nerfed. To repeat the conversation from another thread "When?"

umm what you mean with " so they might actually need pet stims " ?

i wonder why that stupid statment STILL running around here

i dont know a single ch who doesnt use petstims .....

you realy cant see the tailor thing as "negative" too - if you care at least a little bit for your customers

- also, the decea is now life, no? that means over time, more tissues for cloths will be needed...

etc etc etc

"i dont know a single ch who doesnt use petstims ....."

I know many. Used to think it was just lower level CHs with pets quickly healed with good Stim Bs, but I've since discovered a number of CHs with high Med Use who use StimDs to heal their pets and never both with the double heals from both types of Stims.

In fact, the other day in Coronet I was selling Petstims and someone asked me what the point was. While I was explaining double heals and such, someone nearby gave them the "simple" answer of there is no point unless you have no Medic skills at all. Petstims, in the minds of many, are for people who lack Novice Medic.

Not to say no one appreciates Petstims, as I sell 50-100 a day when I want. But even among the people who do know what additinal value Petstims can give (and aren't simply ignorant), there are many who don't bother with Petstims.

Well if the CL cloning changes arent in, there are going to be alot of unhappy non-CH's around when they realise they can only ride 2 out of the 4 mounts (think thats right anyway)

The clone changes are not in this patch. Trick 1 and 2 heal a percentage of mind PER USE. Tell your pet to do a trick 3 times and vualla, no more mind wounds. I know many many creature handlers that do not use pet stims. Many players took novice medic to heal themselves during their scout days. They come to realize the benefits of healing themselves in the field and carry that over to their pets.Low level people meds don't heal nearly as much you say? So what is the reply I get. They can make tons of low levelpeople meds in crates for a lot less than buying my high level petmeds. Pet meds are nice and do sell well but they are by no means a requirement.

RE: only2 mounts being available to non CH, I believe that wild CL10 variants were supposed to be introduced for the other 4. So I believe non CH can have them. But I doubt BE will be involved in the process.

yes something like removing the ut requirement for clones is definitely an unreasonable expectation despite medics having it taken out of their schematics 3 months ago

then again introducing non-ch level wild mounts of all types while restricting bioengineered mounts to their current cl does seem a very fair compromise

Actually, we get distinctly less than squat because of the way the grow-then-mount system is set up. What is the point of a CH bothering with using (and therefore paying for) BE mounts when they cannot make a mount until it has been tamed for several days? Since they have to wait for a baby to grow, they may as well just take the extra 30 mins it takes to tame a wild one for free, it makes no difference to them in the long run.

Add onto that that BE are still limted to supplying kaadu and carrion spats to the vast majority of mount buyers while CH can tame wild low level versionsof the other pets, and its clear that BE have again been totaly ignored in a publish. I am personally giving Keldarin 4 days for some kind of update before I quit completely and go become a pistoleer like everyone else. BE had the potential to be a fascinating and challenging profession - a potential I fear will never be realised.

The way to sell pet sitms is not individually. To really sel you pet stims you need to sell, in crates. a CH dfoing high levle missions will eat through 10-20 stims a night, they do not want to keep going back to find a BE to buy more stims allthe time. You wan to sell pet stims, you get a vendor and sell them by the crate. I advertise my vendor sales by putting he loc of my vendor in the name of stims I sell on the bazaar. I sell 200-500 B stims a day this way.

It is apparently The Vision (tm) that Bio-Engineers be vets and clothiers' pets. So that's all I'll do. Someone's going to have to pay me an obscene amount of money to get me to make a clone, it's just too annoying for the return.

they snuck in a big fix to biosensors - injury treatment speed should now be working despite being told that all the tissues were tested and working after the last big publish.

and not to rain on the parade but what exactly is the point of mounts other than more lag in the cities? can they fly me to different cities and planets so i dont need to waste my time at the shuttleports anymore? really dont understand what all the excitement is about but then again people were excited about cowardly gurrecks as well.
