Thread: Are crates of the old CM and Doc components junk
The 'Old' Doc components are quite valuable, I'd say. By using 'old' ABECs with 24 charges and 16 power and 199 Power ALSs I come out WAY ahead compared to using the 'New' components. With new ACRDMs, old ALS and ABECs I made some 1268 power/37 charge StimD's. That's probably as good as its going to get for me. I could push the power up another 5-10 points and maybe add another charge, but I'm content with these.
By the way, I'm new to the BE forums (former Doc, obviously), so Hi everyone.
I whipped up a few StimCs last night with the basic components - and at CL35 use, I was rather suprised.
Since the 'converted' stims went to 188 200 250 and 600 power (A,B,C,D) it sorta annoyed me that my new StimCs came out at 655 power!
So what they did was make ALL of our old stock stimsINFERIOR.
If you plan on crafting, it won't hurt you to whip up some stims while the community ramps thing sup into full production for the masses. Most of the 'enhancers' aren;t working yet and I don;t think the 'Heal/Cure Efficiency mods are turned on yet in-game either - so who knows how high we can get yet....
Just to let you know, you don't actually have something called seeds in that slot - I have used grains, berries and fruit (if my memory serves me correctly). Now something may have changed, but i think you can still use these items where seed is called for.

Ahh so that IS what I missed... I was attempting to use advanced componants in stimC's. Well I guess I wont be making any stims then, as the components are only good for D's and I have never seen seeds for sale on our server EVER. What a crappy resource requirement. Thanx for clearing that up for me tho!
Don't you have any greens, or things like that? My alt is a Doc, my Main is a BE. I keep that stuff stocked all the time for wound packs. Also greens seemed easy to come by using a floral harvester (they seem to be spawned all the time). Being that easy to get, I had lots for pets and meds.
