I need a BE to make 3 Schematics.

I have the resources, I hope.

I am a new chef just starting out. Any help would be great.

I'm trying to make a good product.

Money is low, so I'd be will to trade in product if anyone is interested.

Email Waypoc in-game.

thanks,

Waypoc

P.S. - Norda if you are reading please send me an email in game with place and time i could meet you to give you your case of brandy.

Good luck... I know a few sale schemtics, but most chefs price gouge and most BE's want a peice of that pie. Don't want to start another flame fest here, just giving you a heads up. I would probably do it in trade myself, but I am not on bloodfin

Cookie is right.

A full run of brandy could net you 10 mill, the BE additive allows you to charge that much.

A full run for a BE neutrient would run 35k a case or 1.4 mill, just a drop in the bucket.

This is why we want a piece of the Chef's pie.

granted subtract resources and schematics could still be worth 500k.

The trade for producthas caught my attention, send me an email in-game, lets talk.

A new chef starting out probably doesn't have the money or resources for a full run of BE additives (x3) and a full run of brandy. Especially since he said money is tight.

I hope someone helps him out.. if I was on his server I'd at least talk to him in game before jumping to the conclusion he is yet another price-gouging chef out to rip-off BE's. He did ask nice and offer a trade.

Thanks Anita. I appreciate that.

For those BE's on BF, I am not Nimh or any of the chefs with 10's or 100's of millions of credits. lol for that matter not even close to a million at this point.

I spend most of my credits on resources. I made one run of Brandy since being Chef and could only afford enough meat for about 15 cases of which most have not sold.

Reality check; most chefs barely break even and may even show a loss for the cost in time, effort and resources.

One other thing to think about. If chefs make so much money on their product, BE's should be more than willing to sell their schematics in trade for chef food and then resell it for millions and millions of credits.

If not, then the 'piece of the pie' reasoning doesn't really hold up.

So if there is a BE on BF that can help, please let me know.

Thanks,

Waypoc

I'm on Bloodfin and can help you out. I'm not willing to give away schematics for free or even cheap, but a swap is interesting. Also, I have 1000 +84 BSN ready to go.

Cheers

your best bet is to approach getting your nutrients a different way. most tailors do not ask for schematics, they ask for the tissues. so if you just ask for crates of the nutrients, you'll prolly recieve a much warmer response.

good thought.

though i always thought it was just easier for the BE to make the schematic rather than go through the whole production process.

but maybe not. i'll try just going for the schematics as well.

thankss

I actually think alot of crafting professions have this problem, anyone starting out runs at a loss , a big massive loss which has you scrapping together every penny you can for resources, I know I am..I made Master BE about a week ago..and thought whoo-hoo time to make some money..riiight..I was delussioned, its taken weeks..and I'am just now fnally starting to turn over a profit..albeit a small one..until people know who you are, and where to find your products running a business is a no go..shop placement is important too..lots of places are effectively "locked down" by older, more well known crafters, who of course have choosen the best spots to place thier shops, none the less given time and creativity eventually a profit will be made..if you can hang in that long, BE's and Chefs have it the hardest I think..because they need Organics, and most resource brokers spechialize in Metals, and harvestors..are evil wicked things.

anyways, I respect this person because he offered something in return for the schematic, he dosen't want a handout or the schematic for a wickely low price, he's willing to work something out which is comendable, to bad I'am in Starsider lol, my guildies would kill each other over some chef products from a product trade.

Great point Anita (and good to see another Kett BE). One way a chef can manage this is by requesting a schematic that has a limited run. If you can't affort a 1000-run schematic (or don't have the resources), request a 25, 50, 100, or 500 run with a price adjusted accordingly. The chef can then start selling the items at a profit, then slowly is able to afford more and more units. Chefs make a ton of cred, the BE gets a portion of it, hopefully everyone is happy.
