Thread: What elite profession?
Hey all, I was just wondering what you all thought about the Elite profession (Architect, Weaponsmith, Armorsith, Droid Engineer) would be the wisest choice. I've seen a lot of each one and I dunno what I want to do, so I was wondering what you all thought would be the best choice based on how much you can sell how fast, the future of the profession, what the future will bring to the profession, etc...
Thanks a lot,
Zeren (Eclipse)
I'm sure someone has already discussed this thouroughly though, and probably knows much more than I do.
I'm an architect on starsider, and so far i'm enjoying it. Although its resource heavy, the amount of resources used for a house help you level faster (i.e. a small house gives u around 3000 xp alone when u make it...not including the bricks). I was thinking of becoming a droid engineer, but then the best probot was nerfed....and I heard there was alot of grinding for that mouse droid to get to the first levels.
i'm also happy I picked architect since I'm nearing master with my skill tree at 3 1 4 4. According to the front page on this site, there will be an "Elite-Elite" profession after you get master architect called "Urban Planner." So that should be interesting. I'm not exactly sure if droid engineer, armorsmith, or weaponsmith will have an "elite-elite" profession. But I'm guessing weaponsmith will have one where he makes weapons that can't be made yet (on my server anyways) like the dx2 and such.
If anything I've said maybe wrong, then correct me. I'm just basing all this information off of stuff I read on these forums and people I talked to in-gamem.
Be a Droid Engi reasons why as follows
- Intense grind to Intermediate Blueprints is so much fun (wh wouldn't want to make 700 Mouse droids?)
- You don't have to worry about many people wanting to ruin your creations by buying them for a long time, such as when you get to Probots, and only then if they are not still nerfed!
- You don't have to put up with the constant business inquiries that other Proffs like Architects and Weaponsmith's get
Well thems the highlights - enjoy ![]()
