Anyone done one of these? Dont think its new with this patch.
Got the mission just outside of Mos Espa, picked up the supplies from the other npc and had to deliver them to Wayfar (which has no shuttle port).
Get down there and find I'm supposed to combine the items and then I guess give it to the npc here in Wayfar. But I cant find a way to combine the items.
I checked the draft schematics, nothing, tried my craft tool, nothing.
So how do I make the final item to complete this lame quest? 700 credits for all this if I could make the item, so ZERO credits for my time. They've been doing little patch's almost everyday since release, these missions are still broken?!
Man I keep forgetting that for every thing an soe update fix's 3 other things break!

I dunno about the ones by NPC's, but I've done a few of the crafting missions from the new Artisan terminal and they go like this.

1) Go to start NPC (just like a delivery mission) and recieve the components and schematic from him/her. The schematic is usually in the generic section of the crafting tool in the same area as the fireworks.

2) Craft the item. you get crafting XP, which is a nice bonus to the money.

3) Deliver the item to the waypoint that appeared after you talked to the first guy and recieve payment.

FYI, low paying missions are usually in the same town, higher paying ones are in a different town. Up to you which you take.

If you take 2 missions to the same town, you make twice as much if you only took one mission. That could be a lot of money just crafting... I know what I will do in the weekend ;o)

yeah...crafting missions are great for some quick cash. I can make the same amount (and sometimes more) as I could doing the old easy destroy missions. I just run two missions to another town, and then buy a stack or 500-800 resources for 3k on the bazaar, grind it away, then take 2 more missions, grind, 2 missions, grind....and so on. I only sample when I need a small amount of a different resource. For example, something that takes like 30 metal and 5 chemical. I'll buy the metal and sit on nice chemical deposite and sample it. Being a rodian I can sample non stop, and one of the new sampling events can give you about 40(!)units in one go.

i've done 4 with no complication whatsoever...
