Thread: Too many items in house. Too many broken systems in Artisan.

I give up.

I amquitting the Artisan class. The last straw was when I destroyed every item of furnature in my house in my quest to create a run of 100 Micro sensor suites in my factory.

Each MSS takes an assortment of resources, and 3 components. After finishing my run of control units, I was no longer able to drop the factory crates in my house as there are now too many items in it. When I check the status on my house it shows that I only have 28 items in it, 12 of the items are factory crates, and I havefew backpacks with some resources, my vender (who is soon to be unemployed - when she gives up the MANY items that several very angry customers have paid for, but are unable to get off of her - and that will only happen when CS finally answers their tickets, so maybe she will have a job for a while afterall), and my trusty (but useless) Nemodian Birdcage - which I will keep as a reminder of my former MA status.

Thanks for the warning about housing inventory limits DEVs. Thanks for all of the support that you have shown artisans as of late - I can understand that it takes time for fixes, I cannot understand why you can't just give us a "we're aware and working on it, please bear with us" message.

Luckily I am also a master scout, and with a couple days work I'll be well on the way to BH (another broken class, but one which will require much less inventory management, and one which might allow me to have a house with a little furnature, since I'll be able to carry my required inventory on my person - maybe I'll even upgrade to a large house, since my lots won't all be filled with harvesters). I don't want to be around for the sampling nerf anyway.

I'm sick of spending two hours a day getting resources, off of broken moneystealingharvesters, that Ican no longerstore. I'm sick of making much more money doing difficulty 10 (read as noob) destroy missions than I can with my MA skills. And I'm sick of the fact that we can't get a Dev response on ANYTHING.

Good luck to all of you, maybe one of these days whenthe devs give yousomething that's worth buying other than weapons powerups I'll visit your shops. Don't worry about me, I'm not holding my breath.

"Thanks for the warning about housing inventory limits DEVs. Thanks "

So you expected to be able to hold an infinite amount of items in your house? I'm curious.

Sounds like we need a new architecture schematic: Warehouse.

I don't expect to be able to hold an infinite number of items, I also don't expect a factory crate to count as 25 items.

Crates take up 5 spaces each, examine the items and look at the volume. There is a bug that items in containers (backpacks, satchels, etc) don't show up in the number listed, but do count tward the total. (same thing with your bank space, and personal inventory usually.

Seems odd to me that the server knows you have 250 items in there and cuts you off, but can't friggin dispaly the right number.

I can see the need to limit items, it does take its toll to store all the information on all those items.

Anyway, just leave the crates in your factory output hopper until you need them... output hoppers hold 10k worth of stuff, which is 2000 crates.

Ya they need to fix the inventory issues with satchels and other containers including houses.

I'll back her on this one. A closed container having the same value as 20-someodd items laying around? I think not. If you think the position is unreasonable, think about the sheer amount of stuff you can cram in a backpack. And this volume will then fill a house? I think not.

The least they could do is give an accurate assessment of how much space is in your house, something we don't get now.

I agree with her 200%! This is a TOTAL racket! The limit amount imposed on items in your house is just pure crap! I bought a medium house two days ago & can't even place a single item in it. This has to be corrected & fixed immediately. If not, I'll return to playing Earth & Beyond. At least there, we can fly around in our spacecraft.

Actually... not anymore. I looked at my factory today after someone mentioned the output hopper was changed. 0/100

I seem to remember seeing 0/10000 on it a couple days ago... Nice.
