Thread: Ideas I've seen concerning all crafting classes.
1. Extractor certs: Create a new class called Miner. All chars can use personals. Miners and Architects medium (come on they build it they should understand how to use at least the mediums) and Miners only for the large.
Class requires engineering and surveying. They can also survey better and find better samples of resources and they alone can find rare resources.
2. Factories give 75% of total XP and you can only use one factory of that type at a time unless you have Master Artisan, then you can use 2 of one type.
Why should Master Artisans get a "bonus" over everyone else? Cause they're Master. An example of a similar benefit, Master Entertainers get to use an instrument even a Master Musicians can't use. Alot of Master Musicians go back and become Master Entertainers just to be able to play it. It's a want not a need.
3. Better experimentation should work better on low dificulty items. Why can't a novice with no experiment skills only have 2 points on an item with dificulty of 5 and same 2 on something with dificuly 30?
It should be more like say 10 for dificuly 5 and 0 for dificulty 30. Even with no experimentation skills you should be able to fiddle with something really easy, and not with something really hard.
Let's get some constructive feedback, not flames and general yells. Pros and cons so we can maybe hash out any problems with this any other ideas people post and hopefully our trusty correspondent Jasarina can compile something worthwhile to submit to the devs.

PS: A post like this will get lost on the Discuss board, let's see if we can see a constructive post float.
