Thread: what does pts mean on range of survey tool?

I tried searching and couldnt find an answer
like when it says 64mx3pts and 320mx5pts what do they 3 and 5 stand for?

Well, the second number establishes the 'grid'. So the 3 and 5 stand for how many percentages you will be surveying vertically and horizontally.
Said another way, 3 will give you 9 percentages (3x3) and 5 will give you 25 (5x5) over a larger area.
