Thread: Question about Schematics: please aswer me
Hi!
I'm a Novice Artisan....BUT i'm going to surrend the skill coz i need more skills points for my Pistoleer, CH and Medic Prof.
I need Artisan skill at this moment ONLY to do Camps and Travel Biscuits for my Pets ![]()
QUESTIONIS: if I surrend Novice Artisan, can i continue to produce those thingswith my Gen. Crafting Tool or not?!?
For sure I think Camps, coz i have schematics from my Scout skill, but Travel Biscuits?!?! I think I'll lose schematics after surrending Novice Artisan
.
So, WHERE i can buy THAT schematic of TRAVEL BISCUITS and if I have that CAN i continue to produce them?!?! If u can't answer here send me a /tell if u have schem to sell in game, i'm on Bloodfin....Lok always. Nick: MnJaco' ' Piotta'
THANKS ![]()
uhmmm....strange!
someone told me that also surrending skill, if i get schematics of Trave Biscuits i can produce them, but only near the Food Machines (dunno remember exact name)....someone knows more about it?
That schematic can then be loaded into the appropriate kind of factory, along with enough of the precise ingredients used when creating the schematic, in order to create bulk quantities of the item in question.
so..lemme see if i have understood
if i surrend skill of Novice Artisan the schem of Travel Biscuits will remain...and i can produce them (with the ingredients, of course) near to public Food Crafting Station....
Ok or not?
Not.
Currently you have Novice Artisan. If you use a Food/Chem specialty crafting tool in the presence of a Food/Chem crafting station, you will have the option to make a "schematic". This is stored in your datapad.
Schematics do not let YOU make the item in question. They let a FACTORY make the item in question. The biggest catch (not counting various factory bugs) is that a schematic can ONLY be used with EXACTLY the same ingredients it was originally made with. What that means is that if you used a particular type of grain when you made the schematic, and that grain later rotates out and becomes unavailable, the schematic is worthless unless you stockpiled the appropriate resources in the appropriate quantites before it disappeared.
Catch number 2. Schematics are worthless without a factory. That means you have to either BUY one, BORROW one from a friend, or find someone who will run the schematic FOR you (at a price, no doubt).
All in all, a better tactic might be to simply buy some backpacks and see how many biscuits you can make/stuff into packs before you surrender the skill. Once those are gone, find an artisan and put in a request.
