There was a bug but I thought they had fixed it. Guess not, with the vendor you get at Business 3. There was a workaround for it too. Best I can do if suggest you do a search on the Merchant forums which is where I got the info. I needed to make it work, as I can't find my printed notes. Its quite a well know bug so you should be able to find something about it.

do a search, as there were different methods for the workaround. what worked for one didnt for another. dont worry about the maintenance unlike other things you can withdraw it from the vendor.

The way around it used to be to create the vendor so it was in your backpack, then log out and back in again, after that the vendor should work after its placed.

Its probably in your best interests to destroy the vendor (make sure you remove any maint you put in it) and following those instructions.

This happened to me too. After waiting for a few minutes I was able to use my vendor(s) just fine.

Hi, I am a total newb to the artisan profession, I just achieved business 3, placed a house and set up my first vendor.

Problem is, i can't figure out how to put items on the vendor!!!

When i try "Use Vendor", it says 'vendor has not been initialised', even though i have initialised it.

I removed the vendor and placed it again, initialised it, same thing.

Is this a bug or is there something painfully obvious that i am missing?

I have payed 500 credits maintenance.

Pleeaaase help, I was quite looking forward to the day i place my first vendor but it has gone wrong :-)
