Thread: Some questions about resources
Ok, I some questions about resources.
1) During a resource shift, does it shift all resources at the same time or is it a gradual proccess with each resource getting moved before the next one does?
2) I had harvestors extracting Radioactive material. All was good. Now I can't even find it on Talus (Radiant). Will it come back? If so how long would it take?
3) I'm looking for Thoranium Steel and Skevon Reactive Gason Radiant. What planet should I be looking on? Can I even find it on Radiant?
4) When you start the surveying proccess, it shows alot of different resources that you can choose from. Is that every resource (of the given type) that is found on the planet or server?

Hey... I can only answer some of ur questions but it is better than nothing rigth? 
1) It IS a gradual proces, it shift some resources but let some be for some more time.
4) It is all the resources on the planet of as an example minerals when u use a minerals survey device.
It was just 2 questions... I hope some one else answer the other 2...

Resources shift independent of each other. Some will only stay around a few days, others may stay weeks. You could theoritically have all your resources shift at the same time, but more than likely it will be a gradual thing, lose some steel today, get a different steel tomorrow. . .

Radioactive is just like any other resource in the game. It shifts randomly. Sometimes you're lucky andyou'll get back-to-back shifts of radioactive, sometimes you won't. Usewww.swgcraft.com to check and see what resources are available on your server and what planet you can find said resource.

Going the weaponsmith route huh? Thoranium Steel and Skevon Reactive Gas are some of the more "rare" resources on my server. Use www.swgcraft.com again to find out if they're available on your server and which planet you can find them on. You can also use SWGcraft.com to find out how long its been since the resource spawned.

The resources you see in your various tools are the resources that are available on the planet youcurrently on.Some of the resources mayspawn on multiple planets, some resources may only spawn on one planet.

Its random. Sometimes a new resource will show up for a day or more before the old type shifts out, sometimes they will do a swap, and other times you get a new type and an old one disappears.

Radioactives do come back, but sometimes takes up to a full week or more. The last shift on Sunrunner/Naboo took 6 days for Radioactives to be "found" on Naboo.

Yes, you will eventually find it on your server. When? No one has a crystal ball to answer this. The algorithm for the spawn is very random on when/if a resource appears. Ionate Intrusive Ore was missing on Sunrunner for at least 4 months. And on Azhi (i think) one of the resources to make T-21's took almost 6 months to spawn.

Easy answer: Yes, at that time. It will change, usually before you are ready for it to change!
