If I have a vendor in my house, how do I grant someone access to it so that they can sell stuff in it also?

You can't, only the owner of a vendor can put stuff up for sale. The best option available is for your friend to put the item up as an offer to the vendor. You (as the owner) are the only person who can purchase it, but you can put it up for sale immediately. So you pay credits to your friend for the item when you accept the offer, then you get the credits when a customer purchases the item.

In case it matters, your friend's vendor offers count against his 25 item limit for bazaar sales.
