Thread: Survey XP...not happening...

I've been grinding the Survey Tree for a bit and about a quarter of the way through the forth block all my xp stopped counting. I survey and it says I get the points but nothing pops up in my meters. Is this just a bug? Anybody know of anyway to fix this?

Did you try relogging? Everytime my XP stopped, on any skill. I relogged and the xp was there!

Yeah. One time I was getting mad because the novice pikeman block seemed to be taking me forever. I logged out, and when I logged back in, I had actually gotten enough experience for novice and nearly enough for one of the first blocks. 
If you are working on scout at all, surveying and survival are very easy to level together. I would set a macro to sample for 5 minutes, sit down for a minute and then repeat again. I was never far from the screen (so it wasn't total afk cheese)but I would craft in the meantime and kept me from keeping an eye on my HAM. Getting crafting, surveying and survival exp at the same time = teh win!
