Thread: Most efficient way of gaining Crafting XP

I have recently started a new character who is an Artisan. I am slowly building up my Survey XP (as well as my stockpiles of copper and ore) but i am really struggling to make an impact with Crafting XP. I have crafting level1, but level 2 is a real chore, i don't know how i will do 3 and 4.
The way i am doing it at the moment is to just keep crafting CDEF rifles, but they only give me 43 xp each time
Any ideas how i can boost my Crafting XP???
2 other quick questions: 1) In terms of gameplay satisfaction, what should i do with my artisan?? I was thinking weaponsmith armoursmith or droid engineer?
2) How do i craft vehicles, which skills to do i need??

first your best bet is to gring crafting tools first work up the engenerring line and then do personal harvestors to get the rest of the skills.

srry i hate when i does that to continue as far as what elite prof you should go into it all depends on what your into
and vehicles are a master item

go up to engeneering 3 and grind out windmills. You'll master all but survaying in about 20 min or so that way

Chemical crafting tools till you get to Eng. 3 and then craft personal WING generators with practice and you will master artisan in 2 hours.
That is if you have surveying fist. If you don't then park your character on a LGO (low grade ore) 80 to 90% spot and pump away.
Reason for LGO is cause you need it for personal harvesters and 90% of the time you won't find a vendor with LGO with a good price.

Bah you guys no nuthin.
Wind Survey devices give the most xp per resource unit. Then when you can make wind generators they give the most total xp. That is how you grind artisan. And you wont be able to make vehicles until master.

screw that just make shoes once you hit domestic arts 1 or whatever
remember just make shoes and call them nikes
