Thread: Artisans Ban Together...After New Publish
If someone starts undercutting you just buy them out and mark up their prices.
I do it all the time near my city. That way they do all the work and you make the profits. Just make sure you can get them cheap enough to at least double the cost of them for resale.
They will eventually get tired of you grabbing up their stock for real cheap and either raise their prices, quit making them, or ban you.If they ban you just give a friend some money and have them do it.
I would call it griefing but you are buying a product for a set price they are offering it for. You just happen to buy more than one.
I would love for someone to buy me out, but then I would make a ton of money if they did because I charge a decent rate.
kutan u are right,
but sadly to many idiots and non businessmen play this game, so i guess u get undercutted anyways.
PS: i charge long time more then that prices for my vehicles. i dont care if i sell 100 a day or with my prices 1 a week. but i am not working for nothing. its my time i invest to make stuff for other peoples benefit, so i charge what its worth it.
still hope that undercutting fools die out some day cause they simply bored gathering high quality resources for high cpu in masses and sell like as they sell grind metals. vehicles take huge amount resources so they have full time job to fulfil orders for that low cut vehicles.

My vehicle isn't going to repair itself with the starport fix anymore?!?!These damn garages had better work then, cuz if I need to spend 5k to repair my vehicle, it would be nice if it actually stuck
Before you repair you vehicle, go to your datapad and check to see if you can "Store" it or "Generate Vehicle" again... if the first, repair, store and pull it back out again [to save the change] ... if not, get out, generate it, repair it and store/generate again.

Careful you will give the "free market" a bad name. At least that is what someone told me when I explained why I was doing this. Key differences I always bought far from home and 'Imported' and I left some on the vendor so the vendor was not empty for the next customer. I have since moved into mining and wholesale to even out my cash flow.

Whenever I am going to repair my vehicle (I usually repair it) I get off and
store it. (Gets rid of all ghost copies including the one I was on)
generate it. (Gets a fresh "real" vehicle)
repair it.
store it. (Updates the database with the repairs)
generate it if I am about to use it again.
