I've already posted this in SWG discussion but I think I'll put it here to and hopefuly someone might actually read this and give us a reply

Is it me or have the repair tools been borked?

It was only 6 weeks ago I made some weapon repair kits of 99% functionality with all the extra parts inside. The guy that made asked me to make these took 5 of them to test them and after a week came back for a crate. The repair tools had repaired everything except theodd one or two to minor blemishes. The one I made myself had also done the same.

Now I dont go through many myself so havent used them that often but after making a new batch they are all acting like a repair tool with none of the extra parts at all. The items are destroyed more often than not and the repairs are pretty pathetic.

So after noticing this I thought perhaps the factory is the problem like the powerups and tried making one by hand with exactly the same results. Is this something the devs decided to do to get rid of the pre-nerf t21's or something like that? or is this a bug? I'd love some kind of official response on this.

After speaking toa CSR they suggest it's bugged and that the more ppl that /bug or complain about this the quicker it'll be fixed. Has anyone else noticed this stealth nerf?

I tired a weapon repair tool on a pistol and it said that it was repaired with only minor blemishes also......................BUT....................... on looking at the stats of the pistol it had given it (-) minus figures! So the gun was -345/650...........well messed up, 3 different charcters tried this and is gave the same result until it finally was destroyed.

Is this a bug or normal. The pistol started at 0/650.

If you try to repair a tool thats at 0 condition then yes you'll end up getting - conditions. You need to fix them before they hit 0.

I also tried to repair a pistol last night.

My first attempt damaged the pistol by some hundred points without repairing it. My second attempt worked as usual, in that it repaired the pistol but with some loss of maximum condition.

We've probably just been enjoying a repair system that was broken in our favor -- now thatit's working as intended, our perception is that the failure rate was increased.
