Thread: How do you use your schematics to mass produce???
First you need a factory that can make the item your tring to build.
Wearables - Clothing/Armor
Structure - Buildings
Equipment - Items/Weapons/everything else
go up to your factory make sure that the maint. is all paid up, that you have sufficiant power in it, and finally that you have all the resouces to make the items for your schematic. If your schematic has 100 charges, requires a total of 20 units of metal make sure to place 2000 units into the input hopper. select "Start Manufacturing" from the radial menu and leave it be till you get a email saying it stoped making items.(this should happen instantly if you mess up)
Also, from what i can tell, you should set schematics that are for your personal use, IE like tailors need synthetic cloth, to 1k uses and control how make items your factory makes by only putting that may resouces(IE if it requires 16 units of fiberplast and 4 units of polymers you can force your factory to only make 10 items by putting 160 units of fiberplast and 40 units of polymer into the indgrediant hopper)
Remember if you use something that you have touse a sub componet in your schematic you will also have to manufacture that item from a factory as well.
Things like houses and other high-end items require a ton of the same compoents to make each one. That's really more where factories come into play. Also, I guess later on if you were in a big PA at war with another PA, PA artisans might make a schematic of their best blaster/armor and hand it out for the war out of stockpiled resources (the resources must *exactly* match the schematic).
I'm not sure how much call for mass produced items there is right now, but later maybe you could move that kind of quantity.
Also, the items come out in stacks in crates - like resources.
Is there really a market for 100, 200, 1000 blasters?
I mean, ok, I made 100 really cool blaster rifles. Now what? Do I sell all 100 on e-bay (I mean in the Bazaar)? I haven't seen any infrastructure that can handle mass-produced items. Not in Radiant Galaxy anyway.
