I'mdon't thinkyou actually want to start mining a resource that shifted -> IN on September 12th.

Just rechecked my notes, opom (mediocre aluminium with UT 383, Mall 366 for thiose that wonder) shifted -> IN on the Flurry Server on september 11th. It shouldshoft->OUT any day now.

that explained why i can't havest opom yesterday.
why they want to take it out?

Resources _shift_, it's just the way it is. Resources will deplete and disappear after a certain timeframe (5 to 14 days) other resources will take their place. Reasonthey dothis: allow diversity of quality on resources, allow scarity on some resources for certain timeframes etc. Mining Resources is a mini-game in itself.
