Thread: Your coolest fish?

Last night I took a little vacation and did some fishing on Talus. I caught a couple blowfish, a couple laa's, a couple striped fish, something else that was similar to laa, and a ray. What's the most interesting thing anyone's pulled out of the water? I did find the fishing to be an interesting diversion, and I hadn't realized you could actually filet the fish until I found it by accident. I was just wondering if there was anything really cool to come out of the water, maybe on one of the more dangerous planets.

Did some more fishing last night, I went to the ocean north of Theed and got the same fish: faa, laa, blackfish, ray, striped, blowfish, maybe 1 or 2 others. I wonder if there are any really really rare fish out there or just these throughout, apparently they're the same on Talus and Theed...maybe I should try Endor or Dantooine for some rarities!

There are only 7 kinds of fish and they are all the same on each planet.
Faa
Laa
Bluefish
Blackfish
Blowfish
Ray
Striped Fish
No matter what planet you fish on, they all use the same 7 fish models and regardless of size in examine, all fish of the same type are the same size when dropped on the ground. Notes for the next big patch do mention that fish from planet to planet will now vary in color.
You can filet them for 1-20 units of fish each (1-5 units being the most common) that are used primarily by BE's to make pet stims, as well as a jar of chum bait (2-5 uses). Fish resource qualities vary depending on planet and shift as much as any other resource.
I've never pulled anything out of the water other than fish (and I fish a lot), but there has been mention in patches about other things being pulled out (boots for example).

Didn't they change it so fish on different planets look different?
