Thread: Weapon Powerup Help
click and drag the powerup onto the weapon in your inventory. You should get a message that your weapon has been powered up with xxxx (powerup device name). That's all there is too it. Remember, powerups don't last forever and various resources and artisan skill make each powerup different in terms of stats.
Do just what the above poster said for top notch PU's and then read this thread i copied and saved it its that good for info.

Hi all.
I'm interested in getting into theWeapon Powerup business. But, I have no idea where to begin. I guess this is the best place for me to pick up a tip or two.Mainly, I'm just wondering what resources I should look for, which, if any, Artisan Discipline, I need to work in. Thanks anyone who can take the time to answer a couple easy questions.

Now I might be an idiot, but I just became a master artisan and I still can't seem to make good powerups. Or powerups that actually work or so anything. i only have quality metal so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong Please help......
Maybe this sounds like a silly question, but you ARE experimenting your powerups, right?
If you have high OQ minerals and high OQ chemicals, your skills (when used with a well-made Weapon/Droid/General Item crafting tool, and while standing in front of a public or private crafting station) should allow you to experiment your powerups to a number which seems to max out at (chem OQ + mineral OQ)/2 / 10
So a 995 chemical and a 985 mineral would give a max effectiveness of 99%. But on final assembly you might only find yourself at 28% or so. You need to experiment to get the rest of the benefit.
If you use lower-quality materials, say a 150 OQ mineral and a 200 OQ chemical, you might find yourself limited to a 17% effectiveness, which barely provides a working powerup at all. On initial assembly, it's bound to be a VERY ineffective device.
All of my resources are high quality and am doing everything, but I guess it just needs more practice. All of my powerups seem to do nothing still no reduce mind damage or anything cool. I'll keep trying. thank you![]()

This thread is awesome if you are trying for a specific stats out of a powerup.
You do not get to pick which stats are increased, and knowing which powerups raise which stats helps a lot.
You are using a weapon, droid, general item TOOL, next to a weapon, droid, general item Station - correct? You can't experiment with the generic tool.
