Thread: Your crafting Session has Ended!
I keep getting this error message when I am crafting.... can anyone tell me, is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong...
Thanks,
Seena
I've noticed this recently as well. This occurs when using multiple crafting tools. If one is open and going through the crafting process when the "waiting for prototype" timer ends on another tool, the "..crafting session has ended" message is displayed and you lose any resources you've put in to the current crafting session.
I don't know if it is a bug, or if they've introduced this in order to slow down grinding. I don't use macros when crafting, and this is quite bothersome. I assume it would also affect people using macros unless they've got them timed perfectly.
Hopefully it is just a bug that's been introduced and will be fixed.
a few questions about your error.
What planet are you crafting on and what are you crafting?
i am crafting the crafting kits on dantooine
Two or three things to stop this,
Don't craft in town
Don't craft near a public crafting station
And
Seriously, don't craft in town... for some reason it seems to clear this problem right up.

I was on Correlia, at Coronet - crafting assorted things, without macros.

Ack!! I need the station for experimentation -- but thanks for the info, now I know how to fix this problem.
And thanks everyone who replied - I'm sorry that you are all having this problem, but at least we know we aren't bugged personally!

Well heres how it works for me..
Im not in a city or anything, Im out in the swamp near Moena sampling, verylag freearea.
Anytime I have a crafter open and another one is getting through creating an item it gives me the End Crafting Session message.
I can craft two items at once as long as i click fast enough and wait for the other to get through, but this is a real pain in the butt.
Im also a Master Doctor and Im not having this problem with my Food & Chem crafters.
So this has got to be a bug, I dont think they would gimp just generic crafters.

Same problem here. I tried relogging, new crafting tools, crafting outside a city (in a camp), and just crafting outside sitting on a hill. I get the problem in all instances if practice is on. Once the timer for the crafting tool that was a practice run hits zero, any other crafting window is closed reguardless if you have reached a second or third tool. Macros are totally out with this. For me right now the fastest way to grind-craft is without the practice option and just deleting items every so often.
This really sucks for those of us who aren't using macros.
Can you tell me, how does grinding without the practice option make things go faster?
Thanks,
Seena
I think what he means by it goes faster without practice on, is that exp/time goes faster even though the exp/craft is lower... this is because any crafting tool open when the timer reaches zero on a tool with practice option enabled get cancelled... thus more resources are spent and there is no gain...
But anyways, I have recently encoutered this problem as well...
It was really wierd, because I was in town right beside the crafting station and the first time I ran my macro, it worked fine... I made about 12 structural modules in a couple minutes and all was good... Then I went and turned them into a wall module (which worked fine as well)... Then I decided to run the macro again to make some more struct mods, and I found that the draft schematic number had changed on me... no prob, I went and found the new appropriate number... And when I ran the macro again with the new schematic number I get "Crafting session has ended" Every single time...
Well im gonna leave town and try crafting back at my house to see if that fixes it, as suggested... otherwise im gonna have to play around with some pause timings and hope that helps...
