Hi, I'm on Valcyn. I've been trying for 24 hours now to start up a new vendor.I've trieddifferent types and different locations, and even tried logging off and back on later,same story. The setup process seems to go well, but when I attempt to use the vendor after intializing and paying maintenance, it says "this vendor has not been intialized" even though it has been.

Is anyone else having this problem? I put in a ticket on it.

Hi,

I had this problem for a while and it stopped when i put 20k into the maintenance, I dont know if this will cure your problem but you can try it...

Will try that. The most I've plunked down so far has been 15K and no joy. Thanks for the tip.

Search the forum. Or it might be in the FAQ, but theres a long and complicated ritual you may need to go through. I did. It was a pain in the A$#. I had to rotate drop, pickup,, drop, inialize, re-initialize...it was hard.

Sorry I can't give the thread link, but one method is to keep destroying and recreating the vendor. Sucks I know, I'm sorry, but for some reason you need to repeat the process untilthe vendor accepts the initializaton command. At some point, it will work.

Thank you for posting Vayde, I was just having this problem and came here to find the answer,on the third try the vendor was initialized properly.

I read it somewhere at www.swgcraft.com/forum/ but I think you need to Initiate first then add maintenance before you open the vender window. That way, everything should work well.

I finally got it to work!

Yeah, I just kept destorying and trying, and finally... it worked.

Though now I don't have anything to sell? what an interesting situation i have created

well, I'm glad for you, but no joy for me so far. I've created/destroyed about 100 vendors so far.

I'll have to sacrifice a nuna tonight, and burn some spice to exercise the evil spirits in my shop.
