Thread: Some artisan and general crafter suggestions

I have been sitting back and talking with other artisans and elite crafters like armorsmiths (which I am) and weaponsmiths.


We shot around some ideas and this is what we all thought would be cool


1) Alloy's of materials. Create a building or a tool that allows the Master Artisan too make alloys of materials in order too meet the needs of the hard too craft items. They would need to still get specific materials too make the material they need but make it more open too make the materials and take a lot of said resources too make the resources needed. Experimentation is also a key as they try too make the stats too thier liking.


As we talked about it, this would make master artisans valuable. Would open up more crafting opportunity for those elite professions that sit around for months too get the materials they need too make the advanced weapons and armor.


2) with the droid revamp a utility droid like a seeker that you could send out on a planet and it would get a single sample of all the materials on a planet you request. So one seeker could get all mineral samples but you would need another for chemical, or gas etc. This would help the casual gamer who likes playing a crafter. Sure it would speed things up, maybe make it so that players need to still go too the world too launch and retreave the droid.


3) A resource Silo. a place too put materials so we dont need to load them into houses.
