Thread: How do you get color in the signs outside your house/merchant tent?

I really think it looks cool, so I was wondering how you go about changing the color of your sign that is outside your house/tent? Also, how do you stack the words so they are not one long line and get the lines above and beneath them? And 1 more question. How do you change the color of items you make and place on the baazar/vendor's?

By using Hex# codes.

For example I would target my harvester and input the line...
/name \#c0c0c0\Nik's harvester
....as that would keep me from having to use the harvester menu. And the #c0c0c0 is the code for silver so that would turn my harvesters name silver.

Color in item names can't be done as of this time. Itused to be possible, but right at this moment, no, not possible.

However after messing with the name on my equip factory yesterday for what seemed like an eternity till i got it almost the way I wanted. I have a few more questions.
How do you do bold text? Tried \b and \#b and those didn't work. Also when writing what you want the name to say and adding the color codesin /notepad or e-mail message the interface seems flaky. Not sure i can describe the problems I was having but it seemed like the coding would work sometimes and not others. also the cursor didn't always would be deleting the wrong text when i basckspaced deleted etc.
Didn't realize that I could type in the /name command, good tip.
Any suggestions from a Master Signsmith?

Oops sorry for the double post not sure how that happened (too bad I can't edit). Forgot to mention that I've seen items that had color text (it was blue) in the name of the item. I think it was at a vendor in a player city on Corellia on the Kauri server. if I can find it again I'll see if I can msg the crafter and find out how it's done.
