Thread: Droid Repair Tool is gone now?

I just noticed that I no longer have the schematic for the Droid Repair Tool. Do I have to be a Droid Engineer to craft it now?

I checked my friend's account, she is skilling DE atm. I see it in her schematic list

First I have to have Novice Droid Engineer to craft the storage tank for a landspeeder, and now this.
(sigh) I guess it doesn't matter.

The Droid Repair Tool was taken out of the game a few months ago since they did not work. Publish 7 added Droid Repair Kits and Droid Reconstruction Kits that DEs can build. Droid Repair Kits repair damage and are usable by everyone. Droid Reconstruction Kits repair wounds and are only usable by DEs. Both are comparable in function to pet stims and wound packs.

There are now 4 levels of the DRT. (1-4 which you get at each level of the tree).
Unfortunatly the new schematic for the Droid Crafers Belt requires a Droid Repair Tool, and none of them work! I spent severl thousand credits getting the clasps required only to discover that the schematic is bonked due to this change!
