Thread: placing deeds

One out of five reasons:

1. You are not in such a position that you can place the deed (i.e, you must stand still)
2. You are too close to a static city, which has a no build radius of (aprox) 1km from the borders.
3. You are inside a player owned city which has zoning rights turned on and havn't given you permission to build in their city.
4. You are too close to a lair
5. You are trying to build on unsuitable ground (on water, too hilly, etc)

To fix each reason:

1. Get of any mount/vehicle you have, stand up if you are prone/kneeling/knocked down.
2. Take up the world map and see if there's a static city close, if there is, move away from the city.
3. Look around you, player cities haven't got a large area of influence, and you get a message if you enter one.
4. Look around. Kill any lairs that are close
5. Move to nearest flat ground

That about sums it up

hi im not a artisan but i do place extractors....the problem i seem to have is that i can't place an extractor more than 450m from my house...I always see extractors on different planets owned by people who don't live there...So why can't i place my harvestors where i want to?
