Vehicle Customization Kits can be made by Master Artisans (the same people who make the vehicles).

What they do is allow you to change the colours of the vehicles.

Most vehicles have two colours, the Vehicle Frame and the Vehicle Trim. Using a VCK on a vehicle will first prompt you to choose which you want to change (Frame or Trim) and then will give you the colour pallete. Selecting colours in the pallete will change how the vehicle looks to you (so you can see what it's going to look like) and then select either Ok (if you want to keep the change) or Cancel.

Be aware that changing the colour is not a permanent thing. Once the colour is changed this sets a counter, and the counter is decremented by one every time you generate the vehicle. When the counter gets low enough (about 5 I think) the colours start fading back to the original colours and when the counter gets back to 0 the vehicle is back to it's original colours.

Theoretically a VCK can be experimented to 100%, and give you 10 charges, but the most I have ever seen is Kits with 9 charges. Changing the Frame or the Trim each counts as one use, so to do a complete repaint costs you two charges.

One of the vehicles (I can't remember which one) one has one of the colours, not both.

I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, a Master Artisan cannot completely make one. That's because of the requirement for 1 Droid Storage Compartment, which requires Novice Droid Engineer to assemble. So if you want to make them 100% yourself, you need that skill also.

From SWGCraft.com:

Resource List: (Compact | Full)

1. Requires 12 units of Metal
2. Requires 9 units of Mineral
3. Requires 6 units of Mineral
4. Requires 1 Control Unit
5. Requires 1 Droid Storage Compartment

Cheers,
