Every time i use my generic or weapon and droid crafting the tool shuts down for no reason. The tool shuts down at any moment in the crafting process. The csr said it was because i used a macro but i never did.
thx

Yup, same thing is happening to me, macro or not.
I've heard it's limited to practice mode.
Didn't happen when I was working on Smuggler, but I was using Food crafting tools then.
Basically after the 3rd crafting session in a row,it hangs on'downloading draft schematic.'
I've not reported the bug in-game yet, but I'm gonna go do that now.

This problem happens when you are using a weapon and/or general crafting tool. Was doing some serious crafting last night ( aka grinding), and each time a crafting station was finished with a product the one you had open would shut down.
I sent a ticket and got the same answer as the first poster: It must have been due to a macro, and it was really
. So I did it the old fashion way, and still the same would happen when one of the crafting tools where done. Sent another ticket; And got one of those nice "dont ask the same question over and over again, it will result in a ban on you account!"
I admit this ticket was basiclly the same as the first one with added information about the crafting and the fact that no macro was used in the process and I still got the same error msg.

Ok, here's my observation.
It seems to happen because tool #1 finishes crafting and for some reason tool #2 thinks it is the one that finished so it closes down.
I've had it happen most often with generic tools but i know that it's not limited to them.
The only workaround I've found for this is to grind something that takes longer to produce.
Basically tool #2 launches into the creation process before tool #1 finishes so #2 isn't affected by it.
Then if tool #1 finishes while tool #3 is in the 'add resources' phase, it shouldn't be affected either.
It will still balk occasionally, but by and large it becomes much more reliable.
