Thread: RADIOACTIVE POWER : does class matter ???

I was wondering if class 1 radioactive would give me more energy unit's than class 7 radioactive would, even if the stats were same


I have class 7 atm which is something like oq 926 pe 878 and receive almost double energy per unit

no. classes are for crafting certain items. EXAMPLE: Advanced Disease Amplifyer on CM needs class one radio.

What matters is the PE. For PE < 500, you get one unit of power for each unit of resource. For 500 < PE < 1000, you get (PE / 500) units of energy for each unit of resource. So if you deposited 1000 "power units" (the number used when you add power to an installation) of that 878 PE radioactive, the stack would only decrease 878.


Ithink that higher classes of radioactives tend to have better OQ/PE, so that's likely what you're coming across.
