The "custom art" note in the patch notes means that there is less duplication for the food icons. Chefs can't customize the model or color of the result.

Although.....hey SirVimes, any chance we can start asking for color customization options? Maybe a couple limited-hue palletes? I'd see it working similar to the tailor customization, although I don't know how the clothing textures handle the combinations, and whether that's something that could be re-used in the food graphics.

I know this has been asked before...kinda. I just want to clarify though before I invest in the resources.

A)Control Units and PowerConditioners -DO have a quality componant so experimentation affects final product

B) Gp Moduals, Electronics Memory Moduals, Energy Distributers and micro Sensor Suites -DON'T have a quality componant so experimentation is pointless

Is that right? Or will the items under B affect the outcome of Droid eng's and Architect's products if they also arn't up to scratch.

I asked some architects and Droid Engineers and another master artisan and didn't get any clear answers.

Any clarification would be apreciated

I make Vehicle Customization Kits, which need Control Units as a sub-component. And as far as I can remember, the quality / experimentation of the Control Unit has no effect on the quality / experimentation of the Customization Kits.

I know that's not a definitive answer but it's the best i can do for now (i'm at work, can't check ingame).

The simple answer is that it depends on the item you are making.

Vehicle Customisation Kits don't care what the components are like, it works just off the stats of the resources used in the final combine, but crafting stations do care about the quality of the components.
