Make sure it is not colliding with anything like a painting or a plant nearby. Everything above and below has to be moved away from the vendor too I believe.

I just placed my first vendor a couple nights ago and had the same thing happen. After yelling "**edit**?" I tried to re initalize, got the message that the vendor was already initalized and the vendor was working. took about 3 or 4 mins for it to kick in. That was on Dantooine on the Loweca server (aka laggiest Place in the galaxy).

Make sure its not touching the wall or any other objects

Just recently got Business III in the Artisan branch and everytime I place a bulky vendor it says that it has not been Initialized. This is after I actually selected the Initialize Vendor menu option.

Does anyone know the trick to get these things to work?

Same problem here. I had to take my money out and then it intialized and readded the money.
