Hi people

I'm getting the business tree up to get vendors and was wondering if, with only the novice artisan box, there were items i could create that give UXP? I know i can grind the tree quite easilly by making survey tools, but i was just wondering ?

Thanx :-)

Everything in the Artisan line gives General Crafting Experience. Everything, if it is in the artisan profession it will give general crafting experience.... I don't know what UXP is but maybe its a european thing or something?

He could be refering to usage XP. As far as I know usage XP are granted only when the crafter is online upon usage of the item. The threads concerning this topic are somewhat old, maybe it's mentioned in the FAQ.

I read somewhere that you are granted uxp when the item is consumed. Try putting a bunch of droid batteries on the bazaar and take note of your gen crafting xp when you log off and when you log back on.

Usage XP is real and it does show up. The easiest, fastest UXP in my opinion is from foods. Artisan foods, when the last 'bite' is taken out of the stack of food/drink, UXP is awarded to the crafter.

Now, that said, I've not actually tested to see if that is the case when the crafter is logged out. Merchant XP accumulates when you are logged out, so I'm thinking it is likely that UXP will accumulate as well.

UXP is supposed to show up with other items as well. but with weapons and armor, it is much slower.

Last I heard (unofficially of course, but from those that know more than I do)you needed to be online and relatively nearby the user when they finished the stack/item, not sure if that means on-planet or what or if that means a 4 use battery won't give 4 UXP doses. I need to try a droid battery test one day with a friend on another planet. I'd just think of it as a bonus and not count on it much, tho.
