Thread: I need your help
Hails all,
I need some help with making stim-shots, healing.
I have the organic stuff from me being a scout. But I need to get the non-organic for the other component as you know.
So... here is where I need some help.
What do I exactly need to get to get some cheap non-organic materials if I trained in Artisian. I need to make/ buy a harvister or should I just survey and remove them that way? What survey tool do I need and what's the best way to cut down on down time?
Help if you can please.

It might be easier if you do not really want to pick up Artisan to contract with an Artisan to supply you with your needed materials. If you do chose to do it yourself I would suggest buying 1 mineral harvester and 1 wind generator and then using your survey tools to find some good spots to put them down. As for Artisan training the only one you really need if you wish to find good spots quickly is the Surverying line. As you go up the Sruvery line you get increased range on all your survey tools.
They would not be too expensive to maintain and should produce a good yield for you to make medical packs with. As you progress into the higher medicines you could upgrade your harvester to a medium or large one to be able to gather more at a time.
To unlock your force sensitive slot you will need to master five professions. These professions are randomly generated for your character and your's only. The developers decided to put in 'holocrons' after their estimated unlock time of three months for the first jedi to appear was actually more like six months due to their continuing policy of giving out no information to the player base.
Holocrons when used will tell you one of the professions you will need to master to get your force sensitive slot but will not tell you the last one that you need, when you have completed the first four professions your next holocron will be silent.
Once you have reached this stage there are many ways of trying to get that last profession:
1.Pure Guess - assuming you did not master any professions before you read your first holocron and did them in order there are 28 professions left, pick one and go for it.
2.Quickest first - there are many professions that can be mastered in a very short period of time, this is not the most efficient way of unlocking but may work for you.
3.Grind 'em all - there is only one way to guarantee your force sensitive slot and that is by mastering all thirty two professions, this is done by eliminating all aspects of a skill tree and then moving on to another, many professions can be completed in conjunction with another whereas some professions (mainly crafting and entertainer) cannot.
Unfortunately your time is running out, there is an upcoming jedi revamp that will change the way to unlock from present profession completion to a quest-based system. Luckily progression in the old system will be transferred in some way to the new so even if you do not unlock before the changes your effort will be reciprocated into the new system.
I hope that answers your question.
