Hi, I looked at some gemstone called Cehif. It hada high quality, with a toughness of 956. The stuff seems hard to find. I got onto a small vein only 35% strong.

I would like to know if anyone is interested in this mineral. Is it used for jewelry ?

I'm going from memory here, but the D18 uses a gemstone in one of its subcomponents. I believe the stat that matters is Shock Resistance. The optional Scope component uses gemstones, and looks at Overall Quality.

One of the subcomponents of the Fragmentation Grenade uses "Amorphous Gemstone", and I think it looks at Unit Toughness.

And yes, Jewelry in the Tailoring profession uses gemstones, but the quality has absolutely zero effect on the finished product at present, so other professions will probably pay more for good materials.

I use gemstones to make weapon power ups

Weaponsmiths need gemstones for gun scopes and blaster barrel components. The higher the quality the better.
