Artisan Archive

I have found web sites that list all the craftable items in the game and what resources are required to make them but I can not find anything, anywhere that tells you what each thing does.

For example, I was considering if it is worth becoming a master artisan or just going on to an advanced proffession. So I look at Master Artisan in the skill tree and I see they gain schematics for things such as:

Sensor Suite

Memory Module

Power Conditioner

Energy Distributer

Control Unit

Ummm, Ok. What the heck are these things? What do they do? What are they used for? There is no information on what things do anywhere that I can find. How do I deciede what skills I want to work towards next if I have no information about the schematics you gain other then the name of it! I can't believe there is nothing in-game to explain what things do. When you look at the skill tree you get a list of names of schematics that are gained at each level but nothing beyond a name. Some things are obvious like "heavy axe" Ok, so I know I will be able to build a heavy axe at that level but many of them, like the ones abovegive no clue what they do.

If any Master Artisans out there can give me some info on the above things or even better let me know of a place that actually gives you more information about the craftable items in the game beyond just what is needed to build it - I would be eternally grateful !!!!!
